All About Shipping:
Our goal is to ship our product to you so that it safely arrives with its full nutrition and flavor preserved at the lowest possible cost to you. Our meats are processed fresh and then flash frozen until they arrive at your door. This method allows us to deliver product of the highest possible quality.  Please note that we do require an order minimum of 5 lbs to ensure that your frozen products arrive safely.

**Saturday Delivery is  NOT available.

NOTE - The delivery schedule is our default schedule. If you order something that becomes unavailable, we will contact you for instructions. If you need to change the shipping date, you can email customer service at admin@pacific-gourmet.com

 

How We Pack

  • Our product is packed to last 3 days under normal "in transit" conditions
  • All perishable product is packed in insulated containers with liners.
  • Dry ice and gel packs are added to package contents to keep your product frozen until it arrives at the intended location.

  • We ship via UPS Overnight. Tracking will be emailed to you. All orders .

When We Ship

We make every effort to ship your product as soon as possible, however, in order to ensure the freshest product we operate on a "just in time" inventory system. This means that some of our products may be momentarily unavailable and your shipment may be delayed.

Due to Blackwing's shipping volumes, we negotiate reduced shipping rates from our shipping service providers and pass these savings on to you.

Will eating organic foods improve my health & how.

A recent study into organic vs, non organic foods showed that by adhering to a strickly organic food program any traces of herbicides will disappear from a childs body in 5 days. The controled study had children eat non organic food and traces of herbicides showed up in the blood stream. They were then put on a all organic program for 5 days and the herbicide traces disappeared. They then went back on a non organic program and the traces of herbicides reappeared.

Can you recommend some of the best ways to cook Bison?

Sure. Here are some of our favorites:

Skillet - Heat skillet on high heat. Add meat and sear 2 minutes on each side, then bake at 350 degrees until desired wellness.

Cover & Bake - Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Baste meat with sweet butter, olive oil or other preferred preparation. Cover and bake 35 minutes per pound. Internal temperature should be 125-135 degrees Fahrenheit.

Grill - Sear meat for 2 minutes per side with a high flame. Lower flame and cover 3 minutes per side or to desired wellness.
